Bann Kunpra is set in an antique building, but the current management is recent. It is centrally located on the island side of Pasak river, at the junction between U Thong Rd and Dechawat Rd, a little south of the popular Chao Phrom market. The full name as reported on the official brochure is “BannKunPra by wolvesdesign”.
Bann Kunpra can accommodate about 100 customers, partly inside, partly on the charming river terrace. The terrace was richly adorned with flowers at the time of our visit. The terrace is accessible also directly from the river, by boat.
Customers are an even mix of Thai and foreign nationals. They include tourists staying at the attached Bann Kunpra guesthouse. We found the place to be quiet and attractive.
We ordered one of the cheapest items on the menu, spaghetti with green curry paste with chicken. It was delicious and we paid 110 B, including water and tip.
