Wang Nenn is one of those places only locals know about. A riverside resort and restaurant in Sung Noen district (about an hour from Korat), it sits beside a wide, calm river surrounded by greenery. Thais come for fresh river fish, cold beer, and slow afternoons, and the place delivers perfectly on all three.

Food and Atmosphere

Dining is in open-air wooden pavilions right over the water. The menu focuses on fresh river fish and Isaan classics. Weekends draw Thai families from Korat for long lunches; weekdays it’s nearly empty.

Getting there: Sung Noen district, ~50-60 km from Korat. Not signposted, ask locals once in Sung Noen, or use GPS.
