Annyeong: Authentic Korean BBQ in the Heart of Korat
Annyeong (안녕) opened in March 2013 on Suebsiri Road in Nakhon Ratchasima, directly across from the Walrus Pub. The name is a Korean greeting, and the food lives up to it, this is a proper Korean BBQ restaurant, not the watered-down Thai-Korean fusion you find elsewhere in the city.
Tabletop grills for authentic Korean BBQ, quality beef cuts cooked at your table.
What to Expect
The style is traditional Korean BBQ: raw meat arrives at your table and you cook it yourself on a charcoal or gas grill set into the centre. The sauces are excellent, and the cuts of beef available include several options depending on preference. All the classic Korean side dishes (banchan), kimchi, pickled vegetables, seasoned spinach, bean sprouts, come with every meal at no extra charge.
Unlimited Korean side dishes (banchan) are included with every meal.Ready to grill, the BBQ table setup at Annyeong.

Is Korean food popular in Thailand?
Korean cuisine is enormously popular in Thailand, driven by the Korean Wave (K-pop, K-dramas) and shared love of bold flavours. Korean BBQ restaurants, fried chicken chains, and ramen shops are found in most Thai cities. Korat has several Korean options catering to the local student and expat population.
What dishes should I order at Korean BBQ?
Popular Korean BBQ dishes include samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly), galbi (beef short ribs), bulgogi (marinated beef), and dwaeji bulgogi (spicy pork). These are grilled at the table and eaten with banchan (side dishes) including kimchi, japchae, pajeon, and doenjang jjigae soup.
How much does Korean BBQ cost in Korat?
Korean BBQ in provincial Thai cities like Korat is typically very affordable — a full meal per person with meats, banchan, and drinks commonly costs 200-500 THB, significantly less than equivalent restaurants in Bangkok or Korea itself.
