This place opened early 2014 and sells foreign food just beside Pullman hotel. They distribute for example Koratchef and Gourmet meats products. They also have more than just frozen food and most of the expats in the area will probably like to have a look and find something that might not be selling anywhere else.
Salami, curries, steaks are just few of the items available.
It is really adjacent to the Pullman’s hotel, few doors down from Pomodoro restaurant, on the small soi that goes to U-Bar. You can’t miss it.

About Isaan Cuisine
The Isaan region of northeastern Thailand has its own distinct culinary tradition, influenced by Lao and Khmer cultures. Signature dishes include som tam (spicy papaya salad), larb (spiced minced meat salad), sticky rice (khao niao), and grilled chicken (gai yang). Food in Isaan tends to be spicier and more sour than central Thai food, using ingredients like padaek (fermented fish sauce) and fresh herbs.
Khon Kaen Food Supply is a food-focused establishment in Khon Kaen offering quality ingredients, prepared foods, or dining — part of the city’s growing food culture that meets the demands of Khon Kaen’s cosmopolitan population of academics, medical professionals, business people, and expats.
Where can I buy quality international food ingredients in Khon Kaen?
Quality international food ingredients in Khon Kaen are available at: Makro (bulk import goods, imported cheeses, western products), Tesco Lotus and Big C (standard imports), Villa Market (if present), and specialty grocery stores catering to the expat and Korean/Japanese communities. The Pullman and Avani hotels also have deli sections.
Is food shopping easy for foreigners in Khon Kaen?
Yes — Khon Kaen is one of the better-stocked provincial cities in Thailand for imported food items. The large university and medical community creates demand for international products. Makro in particular stocks a wide range of imported dairy, meats, and specialty foods at wholesale prices.
What local Khon Kaen specialties should I try?
Khon Kaen’s food specialties include: Khon Kaen sai krok (fermented pork sausage — slightly different from Korat style), pla som (sour fermented fish), gai yang (excellent local grilled chicken), and khao ji (grilled sticky rice with egg). The Si Than area and night markets are the best places to try authentic local Khon Kaen food.
