Turn On, pub in Korat.

This is a new place that officially opened on September 9, 2009. It’s called “TURN ON” and it’s almost opposite Nam Jam, on Sueb Siri Road, down the road about 300 meters from The Walrus Pub.

It’s not a jazz bar (as seen on a forum) but they have 4 different bands playing. The first band was the same as the last band at Dok Mai Cafe. One of the bands features a guy on a saxophone, playing western and Thai songs. You can sit outside and inside….it’s owned by 4 people and they are all very nice.

The food is really good. Leo beer is 65 baht, Heneiken 95, a bottle of 100 Pipers 399. We had an excellent fried fish and great green curry.

At night, it attracts a lot of people. It’s currently a very popular place.
