This Thai restaurant is located on Sukhaupatum, soi 9, Jangsanit rd. It’s a little hard to find if you don’t know Ubon Ratchatani. From the clock tower drive towards Yasothon and take a slight left by at the psychiatric hospital.

When you hit soi 9 turn left, and it’s a few 100 meters in on the right hand side. You can also check our placemark on our google map for Thai restaurants in Ubon.

You can have some nice thai food in a beautiful restaurant. It’s crowded with young ‘rich or upper class’ people in the evenings. It has a large parking but seriously, try to arrive before 7pm if you are there for dinner.

This picture was taken on day time. On night time, the lights make a nice and warm ambiance, with plants and wooden furniture. There are several private rooms with Karaoke. You can reserve them for a party of a special celebration.

Zaap soi 9 has excellent Thai food and this is why this place is very popular. All dishes were nicely presented. Live music is played every night. They start at around 6:30 for the first artist or band, and later at 8pm for the second one.WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT RESTAURANT. It’s peaceful, nice, tasty and beautiful.
